Default Problem with 1280x720 mp4 movie

Greeting

I'd appreciate to get feed back from you on this matter. I have an anime episode encoded in mp4 with the resolution mention(1280x 720) everything is ok in my pc. It just says when opneing that playing hd content has unexpected result but plays it fine anyways. On the ps3 the story is different though. I copied this file in the ps3 and there I find an icon that tells you it's a movie, but when trying to play it There is an error display an a code "Error Code 80028801" and nothing happens. I tried google and it just gides me to comments with no suggestions or solutions.

I hope I provided enough information about this problem, and thank you again for your support and help.

I'm not a PS3 owner but watch a lot of fansubs. It could be that the format of the episode is not correct for the PS3. Open the file up on your PC in either VLC or Media Player Classic and find the properties of the file. From there you will be able to find out if it is compatible with the PS3. The latest batch of fansubs use the x264 codec in an MP4 wrapper which i *think* the PS3 doesn't support.
