I was considering the Pioneer VSX-519, Sony DH700, or the Sony DH800. I'm only going to use 2 Polk M30's and a Yamaha 100 watt subwoofer. I also have 2 HDMI devices that I'm going to hook up to it. I want both video and audio to pass through the HDMI. I already tried 3 other receivers but had split-second audio dropouts with 2 of them and another one had a 2 second delay in audio when it was autodetecting the sound format being input to the receiver by the source. I also don't want degradation in image quality when connecting HDMI to the receiver. If a receiver does not support DTS-HD or DTS-HD MA but has HDMI inputs can I still set my blu-ray player to bitstream and the blu-ray player does the HD decoding instead or will I have to set my blu-ray player to PCM?
