Default Twilight dazzles Blu-ray fans everywhere , sells 3 million DVD/BDs !!!

Amazon.ca is already accepting preorders for this on BD. No release date yet.

Twilight Amazon.ca preorder

Was this any good or just a flick for teenage girls?

I thought it was decent. Obviously not a macho film. I'd definitely rent it, not really something you should blind buy.

i thought it was pretty good. its demo' is definitely teenage girls, but coming from a 22 year old guy, it was pretty decent. my girlfriend loved it and has been reading the books ever since we saw it. she is almost done with the 4th book now...

plus i just want kristen stewart!!

Worst movie I have seen all year, and my gf who has read the whole series feels the same.

The acting was terrible (on par with The Happening), the visuals were sci fi channel worthy, and the story was weak.

I thought it was very good.

My wife has read all the books and loved the film - really loved it

I have to say, the comment surrounding the acting being not very good!? are you kidding me? Both central performances were excellent, particularly Kristen Stewart's Bella. She was very good.

This movie is like some lost film from the 80's you never saw. In a good way. Its limited budget works in its favour as they clearly stick closer to the spirit of the text for it.

Each to their own, as I always say, - but I would definitely recommend it

Yeah but the thing with acting in 80s (mostly action films) the acting comes with the movie, you are not expecting Arnold or Sly to give a stand out performance...

Hopefully the 2nd will be a improvement since they have a whole new crew and everything.

I'm a huge fan of the books, and also a huge fan of the movie. I thought it was great, the only bad actor was Kristen Stewart. She just takes things to far.

Saw it with my girlfriend this past week. She had read the first two books at that point and is on to the fourth one now. Being a 27 year old guy I was expecting the worst but I found myself actually enjoying the film. She wants me to buy the blu when it comes out, so I guess that will end up in my collection. BTW, my local MovieStop has a release date in March, according to thier computer, and are taking preorders now.

It looks like the CW network (e.g. Gossip Girl) had a love child with a B-movie company?

I'm going to have to pass, but I hope the rest of you enjoy it.

Except the cast of gossip girl can act, if Chuck had played Edward the movie would have been SO much better.

The special effects would be forgivable with better acting. It's just not there.

Being a fan of the books I may end up getting it... anyone else should seriously rent first.

I thought it played like an after school special.

I just dont see the hype over this. I guess it would help if I was a girl, but I am not and the movie quite frankly, bored me.

Even if I was a girl and had read all the books and LOVED them I still would have hated this movie, it was just thrown together and horribly made.

But then again I guess if I wasnt such a "movie snob" I may have enjoyed it?

Okay wow. I have read all the books, enjoyed the movie...but the acting was just incredibly bad. I'm sorry, but if you thought the acting was good, then you must only watch the Disney Channel or something because they better get razzies...
