So I was watching Armageddon on VHS... - Blu-ray Forum

... and after the first opening minutes, I decided I wasn't going to waste this spectacular visual feast on VHS. I won't even watch the DVD. I'm waiting for blu-ray for this baby.

I've seen it on cable at my sister's house with my nephew. We both love it. Love the effects, love the Russion dude, the crazy dude, and the we both got chocked up at the crying elevator scene.

Yeah, I know the critics panned this one. Probably a jab at Willis for some reason. This is story telling at it's best and look forward to watching that asteroid blow in blu!

Lack of a choice. I don't have the DVD and I know what a good movie it is. It is my brother's tape. But I will wait for blu-ray so I have time to forget what I do remember of the movie and get blown away all over again.

For what it is worth, and for anyone interested, there is a 720p/x264 OTA capture of Armageddon in the korea.binaries.movies newsgroup.
