Default BD-Java

Okay, this was the only category I can post this thread to since I'm a new member. But mods, feel free to move it if necessary.

I've been dabbling in J2ME (now Java ME) since the beginning, and I've spent a bit of time playing with MHP, including getting a couple Xlets to compile and run with the emulator. But as far as BD-J, I'm a Newbie for sure as it includes many other API's and leaves irrelevant stuff out (like GEM versus MHP?).

To me one of the #1 things that sets Blu-ray apart from HD DVD is that Blu-ray's potential for interactivity and features is limitless. We can do interactive stuff that people haven't even dreamed of yet in the future with movies. So as the total nerd that I am, I'm appealing to other nerds here that would like to share knowledge and play with this stuff just for the fun of it. Since a lot of people aren't experts at this currently, I imagine this niche has the potential to create a few lucrative jobs with major studios if you're into that also.

So mods, what are the chances we could have a dedicated section of the forum for BD-Java? We could share exciting code!
