Got my DLP fixed! No more PS3 on a 32" SDTV

One thing I noticed after I got the bulb replaced: It looks 1000x better than it did before. It's so much more vibrant.

Do you have a samsung? If so where did you get the bulb for and how much?

I've had mine for 18 months and its getting close on the hours of use and I think I want to buy this now instead of waiting for it to burn out.

I've got a Toshiba. Most bulbs run about the same price; 200-300$. Mine was 250$.

I agree The lamp on my sammy hlp5085 exploded inside and I was worried it messed up the internals but the service techs popped in a new lamp and I fired up the TV no problems. Colors are vibrant and crisp.
