Any one have Directv HD?

Most of my stations are coming in at 1080i - is that normal? Will only my bd's/video games come in as 1080p?

Yes, most of the stations coming in at 1080i and a few in 720P, if you set your receiver to accept native resolution you will see this 2 resolutions. No station is boardcasting in 1080P yet. If you have a 1080P TV, your TV should upcovert the native resolution to 1080P.

At this time your only 1080P source would be your bd player or your PS3.

I have Dish Network HD and can only receive a 1080i signal even with a 1080p tv. Someday there will be a 1080p satellite signal

I have DirecTV HD! Got it just in time to watch the Daytona 500! I can't say anything bad about the 1080i especially after watching a "normal" channel....

in the past month, all of my 1080i channels have gone 720p...i have no more 1080i channels that i once had...am i alone?

sounds like a setting... mine are still 1080i, you are talking DirecTV ??
