LOTR questions? - Blu-ray Forum

I don't know if there was a thread about this already, but I was wondering if anyone had any links that confirmed whether the LOTR trilogy was actually recorded in HD or SD. I have tried searching but haven't come across anything conclusive. Thanks.

Well,

I'm wanting to go sell my LotR DVD's to Newbury comics for a little cash to use towards a Blu Ray.

But,.. I'm worried the Blu Ray versions may not contain the theatrical editions. I own both the theatrical and extended versions and sometimes prefer the theatrical.

Oh well,.. who am I kidding,.. I will certainly buy both versions over on Blu Ray anyway.

Oh and yeah,

It's film so it's higher def then high def.

It's not standard def video if that's what you were asking.
