Question which movie should i double dip?

i'm going to best buy today to purchase 2 blu rays and would like some opinion on which i should double dip on from the dvd version

i am getting a few good men for sure but the decision comes on whether i should get LORD OF WAR or DIE HARD as my second

i own that OOP die hard collection for dvd and the 2 disc SE lord of war

which blu will i see the greatest update with in terms of PQ/SQ?

I watched Lord of War this weekend. My only complaint is that it seemed pretty high up in the contrast but then again, I never saw the sd-dvd version so don't know if its intentional.

I really hate the generic menus on Lord Of War.. unless thats how its suppose to be. It looks pretty good but from what I read Die Hard would be the better choice.

Lord of War on DVD looks pretty good upscaled on my TV so I would say Die Hard, although I'd be tempted to get Lord of War in blu for the opening credits alone.

my thinking was that lord of war is a farely recent dvd so i could live with upscaling it for a bit longer

I personally would choose Lord of War simply for the fact that the DVD isn't in the original aspect ratio of the film, and the Blu-ray is. Either way, I doubt you'll be disappointed though, and I'm not sure if you'll even catch this message before you buy anyway.

Trust me. You are not double dipping when up-grading from DVD to BD. Anything will be a great choice.
