I've noticed while watching tv on my new hdtv, that some programs "fill" my entire screen (which I prefer), but then, when it goes to commercial, the viewable area shrinks (with the vertical black bars on each side).
Blu-ray does fill your entire screen, I'm hoping? Is there Fullscreen and Widescreen versions? |

Sticky: Why the Black Bars ???
If you would like a movie that is "fullscreen" you need to look here: List of Bluray Movies in 1.78:1 and 1.85:1 aspect ratio ...although, the term "Fullscreen" applied to 4:3 tv's and movies. It is not the proper term to be used use in correlation with Bluray and 16x9 HDTV. |
