Default Breaking in your Plasma TV with your PS3 music player?

I had some friends over the other night, just hanging out and drinking, when someone asked if I could put some music on. So, I fired up my PS3 and played saved MP3 files for background music. The visual player was set to the default mode, where the screen constantly changes colour and shapes/highlights move with the beat of the music. Since I'm planning to buy a plasma in a few weeks, the thought of where to find a break-in dvd/blu-ray kept crossing my mind (ever since I made my decision, it's pretty much all I can think about, lol). Anyhow, I was watching these random, flowing, colours and waves on my tv screen, and it suddenly occured to me that the visual player on the PS3 could make an effective Plasma break-in device.

I can set my PS3 MP3 playlists to play random songs with the visual player on, indefinitely. Also, I'm not worried about my PS3 as it runs 24/7, folding@home when I'm not playing games, movies, or browsing.

So, now I set this question to the Plasma HDTV experts on this forum who have a PS3... will this be an effective way to break in a Plasma TV?

For those that don't know, when playing MP3s on the PS3, there are 4 visual options.

1) Default XMB wave screen, which has a colour band that slowly oscillates in the center. I ruled this out, as much of the background colour won't change for hours depending on the time of day.

2) XMB screen with all of the Xross Media Bar icons as static images on the screen.

3) The Earthfall screensaver. Where images of the planet will scroll by in space with varying degrees of proximity.

4) The original Visual Player which, as I mentioned before, goes through a number of background colour changes, with varying shapes that scroll by from any number of directions and angles. There are no static images or colours in this mode. In the bottom corner of the screen the song name will appear briefly when the song changes.
