Could someting be wrong..? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi All, I posted a comment on the Batman Begins thread giving my thoughts, and got very opposite responses.... I'm wondering, I ordered the american blu ray version and it worked.. but could there be some sort of filter on it to dumb it down... so to say.. to make the picture more grainy... I heard of this being done to prevent copies being made,.. or am I just being stupid.. the video seems very grainy and even screen shots from others look better than what I was watching...

I'm running on a PS3 through HDMI to a 32" Samsung...

Mine looked spectacular on a BD30 and Panny 50" 1080p plasma.

You need to adjust your picture settings and make sure that noise reduction is turned off, sharpness reduced, etc.

I'm also getting some serious ghosting problems.... this could be a PS3 problem.. cause now that you say it, it does remind me of of what happens when you turn all those reduction filters up full.. I'll give it a shot to try and turn them down...
