Odd. I never had a problem but I usually do not host. Perhaps your connection is weak or there are too many games running.
Try a different less busy server, and if it is still a problem, check your connection. The last thing I can think of would be that maybe some rules are on or off that should be the other way... |

sometimes the connection between you and them can be weak and it can have nothing to do with you. If the bandwidth somewhere along the line is heavy with traffic, it can slow down everyone. So if your neighbor likes to illegally download movies or something, you can actually suffer from it. Many people will tell you it is not true, but it is. Depending on how you are hooked up, many homes will often share the same bandwidth. Others similar issues with your ISP can also come up. Perhaps they are into the practice of limited bandwidth, or perhaps they have heavy traffic all around.
All i can say is try to look for a website that can test your signal strength, and if it is poor, try to eliminate the problem through trial and error. If it is good, then it might be something on their end. Good Luck. If all else fails, you might have to live with joining games and not making them, at least for a little. Also try calling your ISP for help. |

Last time I just tried to play online in a small map, I got kicked out dozens of times. Not fun at all. That was when I found out my modem was out of date and no longer supported, so my internet was sporadic. They can out and gave me a new one, so that should really help. So far I have lost internet once since then, but I dunno, maybe it's just me.
Still, I'll give it a try but my ISP is not that great either. |

im guessing its a port setting with your router. at my apartment it works fine for me hosting but when i take my ps3 to my parents house i can host a game there. i have never bothered checking the port settings there but that would have been the only difference between my place and my parents--- we both have pretty fast connections and number of games on the server probably has no affect

Forward port 5370 on your router for MGOnline.
Your router is likely NAT type 3. You need to be NAT Type 2 or better. Fix for most all other connection issues: http://www.pregamelobby.com/forum/so...-your-ps3.html |
