MGO problem please need to find the solution!

Hi guys, new to the forum, however, hopefully someone has an answer to my problem.

Let us begin.

On launch day i bought my self a brand spanking new MGS4 for my ps3. I played the single player campaign for a while, till i decided to check out the Metal Gear Online mode. So I click on the MGO which then just took me back to the ps3 dashboard. Out of the game, to the top ps3 menu. I tried again, and again and again, I then cleaned the disk, and still the same prloblem. It wouldn't allow me to install the MGO or even do anything. Everything else on that disc works just fine, MGO is the problem!

So i checked and googled the problem, and i was told to just replace the disc. I did!..and guess what...same problem. Won't load, won't let me install the MGO nothing! I reinstalled the game itself, twice!..and still nothing!. I tried the trick with the ps button, still nothing!. I NEED HELP , i mean, if the single player campaign and everything on the cd works just fine, its the MGO the problem. I need your HELP guys, i'm sure someone else is going through what i'm doing!..Do you think its a firmware issue?...is there an update coming up? what should i do!

its been working fine for me. i was using the latest firmware up until a few hours ago. updated that and it still works. so its not the firmware.

by the way, i never installed anything for MGO

ok, let me understand something, the new firmware just came out? and if so when? cause last night, there was no updates. Of course there wouldn't be a firmware problem if you MGS works fine..the problem is with mine, and a few others that are having the same problem. Trying to find out if its a faulty cd or not. I mean, what are my chances? I exchanged the first cd for another, and still the same problem. Let me mention that i can also play online on UT3. So it's got to be something else.

firmware v2.36 was released maybe 5 hours ago??? not sure exactly but it is very recent

hmm and this is for stability issues eh? this could be the trick? maybe? still need to find out if really that's the case.. GOD i really want to play MGO and i can't..that really sucks..
