Default Toshiba 52XV540 120HZ LCD

Just picked up the Toshiba 52XV540 120HZ LCD TV, if anyone is looking for a kick butt 52 inch TV. Beautiful set. Haven't noticed any problems or film/video looking issues with the ClearFrame 120HZ setting at all. Baseball games look extremely smooth on this set whereas before, on an older LCD TV, you would see streaks and stuff when something moved really fast.

Blurays are jaw dropping on this TV. I popped in Cars and immediately got a woody lol. I'm kidding but damn it looked nice. Also watched Hellboy and Lost Boys on it... amazing!

Anyway just a great TV, colors are amazing(found it very easy to calibrate to my liking), nice design, 4 HDMI inputs... etc.

The funny part, the remote has a HD DVD button on it to operate HD DVD players. Alot of buyers may find this option a bit useless lol.

Used the Digital Video Esentials HD Basics to calibrate this set yesterday and WOWOWO!

What a difference, turns out the greens needed more saturation and hue but I was close already with brightness, contrast and the other colors.

Anyway 2 thumbs up for DVE with this TV!

Congrats, looks like a great TV and Toshiba has always been good in my book with electronics.

i have an older model of the Toshiba from last year or so....quite a nice tv set, don't shy away from it if you have a good deal for it.

i'm looking out for the cell processor Toshiba hdtv soon, loved how it had whole bunch of channels boxes on the screen and the processor working on the SDTV Tv signal...looked like it improved it quite abit
