Default help picking new panasonic HDTV

Hi

I did make another post but not sure what happened to it so if this is a double im sorry.

I've decided to get rid of the 32" philips brick I have in the livingroom (you need 2 people to carry this things its that heavy lol) and get a plasma panasonic full HD tv

I want something in the 42" - 46" range and something that has all the new features etc to make the picture the best it can be.

I've checked the panasonic e shop - http://shop.panasonic.co.uk/icat/pla...sref=panasonic

and I like the look of the Panasonic TH46PZ85B, Panasonic TH42PZ800B and actually any of the 42" and 46" on that page lol, the list of things the tv's have is making my brain hurt and I dont know if there is much of a difference in them and what the best thing to look out for is.

Can you guys check over the page and let me know which ones are the best to get, not really bothered about the price just need something that is the best for blu-ray, ps3 etc.

thanks

Any of the "PZ" models are great.
Measure your viewing distance to see what screen size would work for you.
There are numerous threads on size vs. distance, I think there's one that's stickied in this forum.

In the new edition of Home Theater Magazine they review the Panasonic TH-50PZ85u and quote call it "Plasma Perfection" also in a different article the give the Honorable Mention for best tv's of 08 to the 85u. And I can vouch for their reviews because I have the 50inch 85u and it is amazing!!

Thanks guys for your advice.

I went into the panasonic store today and had a wee look so I could see how they looked in action, I've decided that the 46" looks massive and would look really out of place so I've decided to go with a 42" screen size.

Now..... the 3 I have been looking at all look the same to me but they vary in price, I checked the panasonic site to compare them and I cant see any differences in them other than 1 having freesat HD and the others just the normal freeview digital.

The 3 are -

Panasonic TH42PZ81B = around £1000 (only difference is this one has freesat HD)
Panasonic TH42PZ85B = around £1000 (only one out the 3 that has awards from what I can see on their site)
Panasonic TH42PZ800B = around £1700

and from empiredirect.co.uk they all come with a free 5 year warranty.

The price doesnt matter but I cant see a difference between them... what am I missing? for a £700 price difference on the PZ800 what extra does it have? and what is the best ones out of these to get?

I really appreciate the help.

pz80u= 20,000 native contrast
85u= 30,000 native

I have the 80 and i love it, but if I had extra money I would have gone with the 85u
