Yeah I've seen it at Best Buy. Technically, there's always a difference but to the human eye its difficult to see it. Its not worth paying an extra X amount for the little difference. Just my .02

In my opinion, I don't think the human eye can see much of any difference between 120hz and 240hz. I think it is just a new marketing ploy to give people a reason to buy the "next" best LCD TV.

Plus, if you plan on going over the 120hz, then it'll be better just to buy a Panasonic Vierra or Pioneer plasmas (480hz)

That 480Hz is the "sub field drive" (not a refresh rate), & the new Panasonics have a 600Hz SFD that lets it bang out 1080 lines of motion resolution! Nice stuff.

I have not seen a pic on a 240 yet. Will it improve or eliminate the so-called "triple ball" or "halo effect" on images seen on 120hz with auto motion set to high?

we have a couple 240hz tv's at my store

it looks better to me than the 120hz does but its still no plasma but If I was going to buy an lcd, I would spend the extra coin for the 240hz
