Band of Brothers Weekend - Blu-ray Forum

So my family and I spent this weekend watching Band of Brothers.

Everything that I've read here is true and more. This is one of the most incredible movies/series I've ever watched. The detail and quality is not only stunning, but the audio is totally and completely immersive.

This series is brutal and frank and has given me a renewed appreciation for what our guys went through in WW2...and i've seen every damn war picture there is almost.

This series should be viewed in every American High School.

Thanks to everyone here for inspiring me to purchase this. One of the best entertainment values out there, bar none. In one scene there were artillery bursts over the "band of brothers" Easy Company....the explosions and sound effects...in my 7.1 theater...I felt like I needed to climb into a foxhole. So real....

You watched it in one weekend, wow i couldnt sit down and watch 700+ mins in on weekend, wat i did is watch 2 a nite, such a great series, to me its the best blu out there so far!

Its a great series. As soon and they start selling multi disc blu ray cases I am going to get this. Can't have the tin on my shelf.

Incredible series. The first episode is my favorite but just barely. The fact that they put as the last scene the jump from the planes was jut great.

Same with me. Hasn't been nowhere near that price since from what I've seen. Yea...I kept thinking of Ross from Friends also....took away from taking it serious somewhat...but still an excellent mini-series.

Yeah...when I saw the guy from friends I was like...gah. The guy is a bit of a sissy for this role....did they have metrosexuals in WW2?

I didn't get that good of a deal but I remember when it went down and it was a great deal! Goes to show that with blu-ray...if you wait a little bit and check on this site...you may do really well. Star Trek comes to mind now with the sets being half off.

I bought mine the week before New Year's at BB for something around $40. I'll be honest, if it wasn't that cheap, I would have never bought but now that I have, even if you have to pay full price, it's so worth it, it's like 10 movies in a series, not 10 episodes of a show.

I have been a big fan of BoB since it first was on HBO.

I can't wait for the Pacific series coming out.
