I got my Band of Brothers Blu-Ray way back during X-mas...I just noticed I am missing the dvd of parts 5 and 6 and have two dvds of parts 9 and 10. Has anyone else encountered this or heard of it? Who would I contact to help solve the problem?

Two ways you can go about this...contact HBO films or take the set back to where you got and get it exchange.

I have the set and don't have a problem.

Since it's been six months, bringing it back to the retailer where it was originally purchased is probably gone prove pretty useless.

You'd have to contact the makers of the series. HBO I'd say. And tell them about the disk and see what they can do. As for a number to help you out I have none...

Thanks for the help guys. Guess I'll be contacting HBO for this one.

I had watched several episodes, mainly 2-4 and really only looked over the other discs to make sure it had all of them. Never bothered to read the labels until this morning.

I have the series on regular DVD so was in no hurry to watch every episode again. Especially when I can watch it on the History Channel HD almost routinely.

If you contact HBO do NOT refer to them as DVDs, or you just may receive DVDs as replacements.

I would not hesitate to go back to the place it was purchased from assuming you have the receipt. I would raise hell if they gave you a problem, but that is just me.

A good lesson as too why it's never a good thing to leave your DVD or BD still seal for months at a time. Maybe don't watch them right away but still inspect them to be sure all is well.

Like others said mention it's a Blu-ray set and not DVD

I had the same thing happen with my Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection Blu-ray box set: 2 copies of Search for Spock and no Wrath of Khan.

Amazon took care of it quickly; I had a new box set 2 days later.

Yeah, just found out my mother-in-law bought the set from Amazon so we'll see how they handle it. It's really not a big deal as I already have the DVD set but sure would be nice to have.

Loving it so far, accidentally tore the cardboard thing that goes with the steelbook, may try to repair it tomorrow.

I've only watched up to Part 5, but I am amazed by it. Absolutele reference quality, especially the audio.

Seen all 10 parts 2 times so far since purchase. LOVE IT! I like Winters and Eugene the most I find the episodes centering around them the most powerful.

I've seen this so many times. I have it on my ipod video as well, put it on while I run on the treadmill (its my measure of time, one episode per day while running). IMHO I don't think "pacific" will even come close it the caliber Band of brothers was.

Though Band Of Brothers is my all time favorite mini series, you're being quick to judge The Pacific having not seen a single episode yet. I have faith it will be of the same caliber as Band Of Brothers.

The pacific theater during WWII was just as, if not more, insane than the European front. They could spend 4 episodes alone on just Guadalcanal. Also, Seebees turned into Marines.

I suspect it will surpass BoB. Hanks and Spielberg will try to out do their previous work.

I have faith that Tom Hanks and S.S will do a great job, but you can't top perfection and thats what Band of Brothers is to me.
