FUEL hitting PS3 on - Blu-ray Forum

Did a search and didn't see anything on this game coming up. Looks crazy. Supposed to be open environment, much like Burnout Paradise. I'm definitely getting this when it comes out.

I like the fact that it includes the MPH. that's one of the very few things I don't like about Burnout Paradise.

i had a ton of interest in this game UNTIL they took the fuel conservation aspect out of it .. when first announced this game was the road warrior and would have rocked . now its just another racing game ..

BTW: why is it that since I've had it in my cart on Amazon the price seems to go up and down like every other day. lol. Usually only by a buck or so.

What's up with that? Why does the price constantly change like that?

eurogamer and ign both gave it about 5/10 and the user impressions on gamespot were 6.3/10...Too bad I was hoping for this to be a hit, it sounded great.

I'll have to check the reviews....I've liked stuff before that got bad ratings so...*shrugs*

I noticed on Amazon it's been pushed from 6-1 to 6-4 to 6-6 now.

damn the IGN review pretty much summed it up. *sad inside at this news*

4.0 Presentation

The map is riddled with stupid design issues and many of the "unlockables" are rather pointless, especially given the time it takes to get them.

7.0 Graphics

Fuel can look good from a distance, but up close you'll see lots of pop-in and some bad texture work here and there.

5.0 Sound

Tire screeches sound like an alien screaming and the engines are bland and not helpful in telling how fast you're going at time.

5.0 Gameplay

The racing elements can be OK, though highly uninspired, but there are AI problems and so many other issues surrounding this that it's just no fun at all.

6.0 Lasting Appeal

It would take you forever to find and collect everything, but you definitely won't want to.

5.1 (out of 10 / not an average)

Pretty much, Motorstorm 1 an 2 are easily the best this generation. Really haven't found any other offroad racer to come close to them.

I think Burnout Paradise is the best overall racing game. Hopefully GT5 will be solid. I didn't care for the prologue, only because it was so small. only...6 tracks I think.

Missed the Seattle track from GT2

I mean if you had examined all those sites in your blacklist to have a bad credible source.
The first to be on the list should be Wikipedia! Since anybody or any idiot can edit the page and add false information.

This is outrageous and completely retarded!

I mean everyone knows that Wiki isn't a trusted site because anyone can add anything, and then you can look at those blacklisted sites if they are trusted or not.
