Default PSP-3000 owneres, how do you like the anti-glare screen?

Is it a drastic improvement over the PSP-1000? I'm thinking of replacing mine!

It's definitely better. I don't know about drastic. It's still hard to see in sunlight. But it is better than the 1000

Ok thanks guys! I really want a PSP Go!, but I don't see the added benefit for an extra $100...plus I just got a 16GB pro duo memory stick so that'd be a total waste of $50 on top of the extra $100.
Most of what it can do the PSP-3000 can do as well. It's just a handheld redesign (and unable to play my current PSP games) for me.

I'm also going to grab a 3000, because I'm not yet comfortable with a 100% digital environment.

Doesn't the 3000 have like a bluryish look to some games tho?

That's why I never upgraded from my 2000.

What's the battery life like? All the news I found on it is from September 2008 saying that it's got a shorter life then the 1000.

It's not blurry, sometimes you see lines, it's not really thatba at all. The screen is reallY nice and as far as I am concerned makes up for any imperfections. I think the battery lasts as long as the 1000. It's slimmer so itdoesnt last longer

FWIW, I just bought a PSP 3000 and love it. I did my homework, and waited until REAL details about the PSP Go came out before I decided to buy.

A few deciding factors:
1 - The PSP Go is not an upgrade/replacement of the 3000. It's simply a smaller, more portable model and as such is built accordingly.
2 - The screen on the 3000 looks great--I haven't had a game yet that looked undesirable.
3 - Like Rike255, I also bought a 16gb memory stick so I have plenty of storage. No worries there. I'm actually looking forward to getting digital download versions of my UMD games so they'll load faster and I don't have to cart around UMD's.
4 - I have big hands. The 3000 already feels small. I couldn't imagine being able to play on a Go without breaking it or cramping up.
5 - BIGGEST REASON: With the 3000, I can buy cheaper used UMD's and expand my game library instantly. With the PSP Go, you have no choice but to pay full retail price from the PSN Store for every game you buy. Granted, this could be immaterial if Sony reveals that their "good will program" will be a free swap from UMD to digital download because then even Go users could buy used UMD's at a savings and get the digital version of the game. But it's a risk I'm not prepared to take, and I'd rather get my gaming fun on NOW rather than wait until Fall on the chance that I'm going going to get perfectly ideal treatment from a video game company.

PS... I haven't charged my 3000 battery in about 5 days, and I've played Hot Shots Golf for at least an hour a day during that time, and I still have a 60% charge.
