Psp 3000 - Blu-ray Forum

I was thinking about buying a psp...

is it worth it to get a 3000
or would a 2000 be just as good?

and is there a date on when the black psp 3000 would be released

bundled...and by itself?

I dont really want to spend alot of money....i would be ok with the 2000 unless theres a big difference and i would want to put the extra down for the 3000.

I don't know man. Do you use skype? If not I would get the 2000, although I read that Resitance Retribution looks awesome on the 3000.

psp3000 has screen issues, being resolved with the release of the 4000 series early next year according to engadget today! also Dell.com has the 2000 on sale today for $144....check it out

Is there anything really different between the 2000 and 3000 that makes the 2000 dated?

i just dont want to save money by buying the 2000 and wish i wouldve got the 3 because of something it can do with the newer games

sorry just trying to see what everyone thinks before i buy one.

I was debating whether or not to get the 3000 myself, and after reading a bunch about the line issue, It seems like while it is a known issue, most people who comment on it don't seem to really notice anything and are happy with their 3000s. I've got one coming for Christmas, (I think/hope), so I would be able to tell you then.

I know the 3000 has a much better sceen contrast ratio. Gamespot did a comparison between the 2000 and 3000 and thee was a significant diffeence IMO. I`d go with the 3000 pesonally.

I own neither. I went with the Mylo2 because I just need it for internet, movies and music. The Mylo has double the resolution but has a slightly smaller screen at 3.5".

+1 3000 has the superior visuals.

A guy at work told me he saw the psp 3000 (slim/black) for 169 by itself

Is this not the same price for the 2000 by itself tho?

Anyone else see the 3000 for 169 by itself out now?

I just got the psp 300 bundle black and love it. I loaded it up with movies music and ps1 games and also playing GOW so I am ready for the new one coming out.

is there still an issue with ghosting on the 3000? thats one of the main things the 4000 will be addressing
