MK vs. DC universe audio problem? or not

So when playing this the other night I immediately noticed that when shooting fireballs or other projectiles the sound effects for them are all coming from the right front speaker. Even when having the fighter on the left side of screen shooting or when on right side and projectile misses and goes all the way to left side of screen the sound stays in the right speaker. All other games and blu-ray movies as well work fine. Can anybody else who has it check it out and see if it's the same for you? Maybe for some odd reason that's how the sound is mixed in the game.
