Hey, I have a few Monoprice HDMIs and two of them are the 28awg ones with the ferrite cores on each end. I am going to be plugging in a 6 foot one into my computer (which is outputting to my 1080p monitor) but that really isn't the point.
The question I have is can I take off the ferrite magnets without messing up anything because they are really big and make the cord ugly. I don't really want to mess up my $4 cord, but if I do it isn't a huge deal. EDIT: LOOK AT MY SECOND POST. I FOUND THE ANSWER Last edited by Jacobisthe; 07-26-2009 at 12:30 AM. |
