The Last Starfighter? - Blu-ray Forum

This one made it to HD-DVD somehow so hopefully it will be blued soon. I heard the HD transfer left something to be desired, however. Hope this is fixed.

This thread is more to see how many people are looking forward to this on Bluray and less about when it will come out, since I haven't read anything about it so I assume nothing has been announced yet.

I, personally, am VERY much looking forward to the Blu-ray release of this movie. I've contemplated buying an HD-DVD drive for my xBox 360 (they're so cheap nowadays) or even an external HD-DVD drive for my computer, just so I can play this movie in HD. Alas, I'm being patient, and waiting for the Blu-ray release.

P.S. Another HD-DVD that I haven't watched yet is "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry". Where's the Blu-ray on THAT?

The Digital Bits has posted the cover artwork and frankly I think it looks horrible. Does not make me want to buy it. Stick to the original movie poster artwork.

It looks like it has been delayed 2 Weeks to the 18th. Can anyone confirm? They didn't have any copies at my local Fry's this afternoon. Amazon has it dated for the 18th.
