Default Is there such a thing?

I need a blu-ray player with 2 HDMI outs - one for audio (to my AVR so I can get the latest codecs) and one for video (because my awesome new AVR doesn't do such a great job at the video part), but I can't find one. Any ideas? Without breaking the bank?

Thank you.

I don't know about a player that exists with the specifications you mentioned. but have considered a split box (you connect it to the player, and it has two HDMI ports). hopefully this is helpful.

your receiver should not be doing anything to the video, it should be just passing the video through.

What kind of problem are you having? analog to digital problem? upscale problem? what receiver do you have?

I agree, make sure you have all processing off on your HDMI ports. My Denon allows three settings for upscaling of video -- Off, A to H, A to H & H to H.

The only such players I know of will break the bank (in order of increasing cost): Pioneer BDP-09FD, Denon DVD-A1UDCI, and Marantz UD9004. In all three cases, you'd probably end up spending less if you replaced the receiver.

I was going to mention the Elite 09. It is expensive.

It certainly is, although you could get two or three of them for the price of the other players on that list...
