Default Onkyo AV receivers 120/240V switchable

We're currently looking into buying an Onkyo AV in the coming year and I've noticed that the brochure of Onkyo says that some Asian models are switchable between 110/220V 50/60Hz current.

That really caught my eye since we are currently living in Belgium, but there's a real possibility that some time down the line, we'll have to move to Japan. Europe's electric network uses 240V 60Hz whereas Japan's uses 110V 50/60Hz (depending where you live).

If we move, it's bad enough that we'll have to buy a new HDTV, but if we can take our AV with us without much trouble, that would be a big plus (our BD player is a Japanese PS3 and the speakers draw their power from the AV, so that would mean we can take everything with us except the TV).

Any idea if this is true? Or are perhaps all models switchable provided you open them up? I heard quite a few electronic device nowadays have such a switch on the inside, which is set to the correct current at the factory (mainly PC's seem to be doing that).

Anyone ever open up their (preferably European) Onkyo receiver yet? Did you notice such a switch there?

Any feedback would be welcome as it'll help our decision in investing into a long-term or short-term AV.
