Default Onkyo receivers

I am new to the home theater bit. I am looking for a good system, but modestly priced. Any Onkyo receivers that would fit this bill? Circuit city has this: http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/produ...3#availability Would this be a decent setup, or should I look elsewhere?

Also how should room size be fitted into the equation? My room is approx.
15 x 15, not too small, but not too big either. Any suggestions would help greatly.

You want just the receiver, or the entire package?

Try this one instead.....The other system may be too small for your room......This one has a killer 290watt-12" sub also........

I would go with the one above. My experience with onkyo has been a previous HTiB and I'm currently using the sr705. From my experience is that they make excellent receivers but, their speakers leave something to be desired. I forgot what HTib it was but the speakers basically only had 1 driver and the subwoofer was very lacking. Got rid of that, picked up a sr705 mated it with deftech speakers and a velodyne sub and for me it is just perfect, almost euphoric.
