Does Harry Potter UK versions have Dutch - Blu-ray Forum

Hi there,

Does anyone know if the UK-versions of the Harry Potter-movies have "Dutch" audio or subtitles on it?

yes they all have DUTCH dolby digital 5.1 and dutch subtitles.

You also can check out the Canadian releases. They have Dutch subs and dubs as wel. The US blu ray of the first movie does not have Dutch subs and dubs, but all other movies does have the the Dutch subs and dubs (own them).

Why would you want to see a movie in Dutch that was conceived, written and made in English ?

If those were my kids I'd have spoken in English to them from birth. In this global economy it seems like the smart thing to do.

Well,

At first because my children were very young when the movies were released on DVD, so i watched them in Dutch.
Second, they also read the books in Dutch.

Nowadays, I show them the movies in English with Dutch subs.
They think it is allright now.

That's my answer!
