Is Watchmen Still 3 Discs? - Blu-ray Forum

I finally ordered Watchmen from Amazon, but noticed its listed as 2 discs, not 3. after ordering it I got an automatic email from Amazon: "Amazon.com: Watch "Watchmen" Right Now, For Free" with a link to a downloadable version.

Has Amazon got rid of the 3rd disc which has the Theatrical Cut in Digital form?

From what I've noticed, sometimes the disc count doesn't include the digital copy disc.

I doubt it has changed. The "watch right now" email you got is just something Amazon decided to do for this movie - it was part of a promotion where you could watch it on release day if you ordered from them, even though you didn't necessarily have your disc by then. I didn't realize they were still doing it.

It's 2 discs of actual content and the 3rd disc is just a digital copy.

thanks, i thought they might not count the digital copy, but wasnt 100%.

Eventually it will be only 2 discs. Warners now only does a limited run with the digital copy included. That's why only the slipcovers have "Digital Copy" at the top, and not the actual cover art.

Gran Torino, The Matrix, and Body of Lies are a few of the ones that have been restocked without the DC.

I wonder why they do this kind of marketing, but still its better than nothing I guess.
