Hi could anyone tell me if the US version of BTILC contains an extended cut I have read about?

Nope. It has the "extended ending" from the DVD. I think that's where the confusion may have come from.

definitely worth buying. i was very pleased with this release, an excellent presentation of one of my favorite movies. i hope They Live gets similar treatment in the near future
