Thanks all for your suggestions. I put a flashdrive in the USB port as suggested, but Crank2 still does not play. Sound, no picture.

could be defective disc. I would return it and see what happens.

Many people are complaining about Crank2. Unfortunately, this disk has attempted to rely on unreliable Internet to play a disk and has given headaches to many people. You can read more at:

I installed the firmware update AGAIN, and no problem at all.
