Help! PSN disconnects - Blu-ray Forum

Need some help guys. My PSN is disconnecting every 10-15 minutes which is super annoying as I can't even get 1 Uncharted 2 game in.

I'm not sure what to do as I can't figure out the problem. Even though PSN disconnects it will let me reconnect right away and anything I am downloading still keeps going.

Any ideas?

Have you tried rebooting your router/modem/ps3?

I tried Home and it does the same thing. It kicks me off PSN ever 10-15 minutes.

what is your set-up? router wired or wireless? or just a modem?

that's odd. i have been online for over an hour now and i am having no probs. Have you tried resetting your settings in the PS3 and searching for and setting up your connection again?

If it just started happening without you changing any settings, then its probably your local ISP acting up.

Yes... I reset all my setting and even tried giving my PS3 a static IP and doing the port forwarding stuff on my router. Still no luck

I just want to play the Uncharted 2 demo for more than 5 minutes.....

My internet works fine though. My Ps3 will continue to download demos/movies when disconnected from PSN so that seems to be working fine. It just seems to be an issue with PSN disconnecting every 10-15 minutes.

Just because your internet browsing/downloading is running fine does not mean your issue is not ISP related.

I recommend taking it easy today and check back tomorrow if you are still having this problem.

I was also having this problem last night when I hooked up my new Slim. After the first few disconnects, though, it just timed out every time.

Are you wireless or wired?

Disable UPnP on your router! I had the exact same problem and that did if for me!

Give it a go, hope that works!
