Default Buzzing coming from speakers through Emotiva XPA-3

Hi guys, I just started noticing buzzing coming from my speakers, I think it may be my Emotiva XPA-3 Causing the problem because I turned the amp off and my rears sound fine(the are ran through my Elite). This sucks, does anyone have a solution?

Could be a ground loop. Disconnect your cable from your cable box and see if it goes away.

This same thing happened to me and I had to get a ground loop isolator. This is the one I purchased

I agree with these two posts on the problem , I would not think it is the amp causing it !

Try re-routing all your cables, keeping any power cables away from IC's, etc, etc.... If the problem still continues, try the process of elimination. Unplug your IC's/cables one at a time until the hum is gone. Could be interference from your cable, could be something else. A good solution might be to replace your IC's with ones with good quality shielding. Try holding your IC's away from your power cables, gear & especially the TV Sometimes these things can be a pain, and sometimes all it takes is the re-routing/separation of your cables !!! Since it started after you added an amp I would say that you are picking up noise from your AC lines via your IC's & then it is being amplified.

Good luck !!!

Do you have an Emotiva amp? I looked at the link, it's for a car audio system. Will it work well with my HT system? also, where do I plug it in at? I have a 3 channel amp? Sorry for all the questions
