Default 54" G10 and 50" V10

How much better is the v10 over the g10 or g15?

I'm only 17 and I'm on a budget. I might go with the 50" g15 or g10.

What are your opinions. I know the v10 is better, but how much better?

Personally I prefer the V10 over the G10 since the V10 has the 96HZ flicker free mode that is a important BLU-RAY feature for those that watch a lot of movies. The V10 is very popular right now and backordered from places.

I'm confused. Your title implies a choice between size over quality...but your post mentions a 50" G10/15.

If the choice is between two variants of the same size, the V10 is the clear winner.

If the choice is 54" G vs 50" V, I'm going to say go for the larger display. I don't even use 96Hz mode - I prefer 48Hz. If I was faced with the same choice, I'd choose size.

This applies to a G vs V comparison only.

yup,a reviewer had a test side by side G10 vs V10..

the g10 had a grayish tint & the v10 had a darker black on a Black screen of a movie.

I'm doing the same decision making. Choice between 50" V10 G10 or Samsung 850. I don't want to get burned with the flicker issue a couple months down the road when I say, "I should have gotten the V10."

V10 for me. Going to get it a the end of the week.

Yeah, I saw that review too...seemed a little too extreme, though, based on other tests I'd seen performed on both displays. Who knows.

Are the Black Levels good on the g10? How much will the V10 be around Christmas-january time?
