Default Weird issue with Onkyo 606, XBox 360 & Dolby Digital

I use a Harmony remote and have all of my devices programmed as activities. I've been having a problem lately where if my XBox 360 is the first activity I turn on for the day, the Onkyo does not recognize Dolby Digital coming from the 360. If I turn my system on Satellite first, then switch to the 360 it recognizes DD just fine. My satellite box does stay powered on 24 hours a day, as it is connected to my HTPC for Media Center recording, so that could be why this never happens with the satellite. I've duplicated this issue with two separate 360's, one hooked up via HDMI and the other with optical. I'm pretty sure it must be something in the timing with the Harmony remote, so I've adjusted the timing a couple of times but it hasn't fixed it. Any ideas? I hate having to turn go to satellite first, when sometimes I just want to sit down and play games.
