Ok, I have a few questions. I just hooked up my ONKYO TX-SR606. Have it hooked up to 2 front speakers, going to finish the 5.1 setup maybe by Fri.
1- When I do the 5.1 hookup, and if I only want to listen to the AM/FM Stereo tuner, does the 606 turn the front speakers on and shut the rest of the speakers off, or do I have to ? 2- I also have a 46' Samsung, bluray DVD player and a cable box. For now I just want the surround sound for watching movies on the DVD. If I want to watch cable TV and listen with the TV speakers, is there anything special I have to do. If I just turn on the TV w/o the 606, will I get sound from TV speakers ? |
