Default Will the future release of Lord of the Rings be grainy?

So I was wondering if the future Blu-Ray release of Lord of the Rings will be grainy and what aspect ratio it will be presented in? Because if it will have those annoying black bars I might be upset. And seriously, let's say the Lord of the Rings trilogy were to be released on both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD by this Christmas (and here's to hoping it will be cheaper than Spiderman), I think it would win by a margin of 65/35 and force Universal to turn Blu, simply because of the PS3 market dominance, thereby ending the format war. By the way...have you heard of the Universal Boycott? Kornblau's blown it big time.

...sorry...i know i'm lame...i had to....

The theatrical aspect ratio was 2.39 (anamorphic 35mm prints from a S-35 negative)

Will it be grainy? (Tweak tweak sharpness settings on the board who's the grainiest of them all?)
It was grainy in the theater. Will it be a smoothie on BD? I hope not!

Ooooo...WOW GRAIN and BLACK BARS! Goodie, goodie I can't wait till it comes out and then we can have like 100 threads started for the grain and another 50 for the black bars...

By the way I used the search feature and nothing came up...Does anyone know when Star Wars will be released for Blu-ray...I cannot wait!
