Default Off-line co-op Campaigns

Quick question:

Are there any good PS3 games that have an off-line co-op campaign mode?

The only one I can think of is the first Resistance.

Are there any others?

Yeah, I have a friend visiting and he wants to rent a game and play through it.

We played through the first Resistance the other day, but I gathered from searching online that the second game doesn't have an offline co-op campaign.

My bad, I didn't know you could play split-screen.

I *THINK* Army of Two does this. I haven't played it though so I'm not 100%.

COD: W@W might do this too but I'm not sure on that either.

I might go with RE:5.

Does anyone know about Army of Two and Unreal Tournament III?

I know AoT was built around co-op, but is it any good?

Didn't Unreal Tournament III get a patch to allow a co-op campaign mode? Is that any good?

I didn't like Army of Two, but go for RE5, it is a very good game.

Is it vertical or horizontal split-screen? Resistance is way better than other co-op games because it is vertical.

I don't know if your friend likes it, but the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games are fun and feature an offline campaign.

Army of two is horizontal split coop. I didnt like the game much though.

RE5 is Horizontal as well, but keep in mind its not the full screen, its basically 1/2 of the screen (each player getting a quarter-ish)

Honnestly, army of two is a fun co-op game but the story is really bad. I still had fun with my buddies playing the co-op campaign.

World at War as well as CO-Op splitscreen.

Call of Duty MW2 Spec Ops are pretty fun as well, I know it's not campaign but I figured it's worth mentioning.

RFOM:1 was probably the best co-op campaign I've ever played... Its such a shame they changed up 2 so much.

I agree. Resistance is one of the best franchises I have played since I got my PS3, which in fact is the first console I have ever owned. The co-op campaign is extremely fun to play, and I wish they could have kept it for R2.

Here's hoping to R3. Insomniac can really make great products. Let's hope we can have 4-player offline co-op, since with just two players offline makes it hell. I can get somewhat along as a medic, but only because of the obvious. I run into some Steelheads, and it's over before you can read the rest of this.

It was a good co-op game in spite of the fact that the story doesn't make any sense Co-Op.

Nathan Drake, sole survivor of a scourge. Oh and this nameless and unimportant survivor who tags along but gets no recognition.
