Alliance Titles 12/29/09: Unleashed, Trailer Park Boys 2, Assault Precinct 13, more! - Blu-ray Forum

Another batch of films from Alliance in Canada, folks. Here ya go:

-Assault on Precinct 13 (Remake)
-Diagnosis: Death
-Pandorum (*May have an upcoming US release announcement*)
-A Perfect Getaway (*May have an upcoming US release announcement*)
-Trailer Park Boys 2: Countdown to Liquor Day
-Unleashed
-Waist Deep

Assault on Precinct 13, Pandorum, A Perfect Getaway, Unleashed & Waist Deep are all 2.35:1 films, so I hope we get the proper ratios. Unknown whether Unleashed will be the Unrated cut or not, my guess would have to be theatrical just going by what has happened for past titles (eg. Copland, Cursed, Reindeer Games). These should all have DTS MA, but no subs.

Glad to see some Jet Li action from Alliance. Also, Pandorum will probably be a copy of the U.S. release, whenever it it suppose to come out.

saw Pandorum in theaters with Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster.. its an awsome sci-fi flick and very similar to Event Horizon. looking fwrd to that one on blu

I actually really liked the AOP13 remake, one of the ones I miss since ditching HD DVD.

So TPB came out a week earlier than this said it would but anybody know what is going on with the others because it seems like the only one actually coming out today is A Perfect Getaway

Was hoping to pick up Unleashed today.

They are marked as Out of Stock on Amazon.ca
A Perfect Getaway is a USA/Canada release so it is in a different category, so to speak, than the others which are Alliance releases in Canada only.
I am guessing they have delayed the titles...

I'm doing my Blu-Ray shopping tomorrow, and I'll check the results of the movies. Hopefully these have been released, as I really want to pick up Danny the Dog / Unleashed

Just got back from FutureShop at St. James and didn't see any of the movies (with the obvious exception of Countdown to Liqour Day).

I suspect that the release date has changed, possibly to the same date as Pandorum.

Thought I'd post a heads up.

Amazon.ca has Pandorum in stock even though it's not suppose to be out until next week. I'm guessing they got stock back in December, but ignored the updated Street Date.

The Canadian street date was actually supposed to be Dec. 29th. This is happening with many US Anchor bay titles, we're getting them weeks earlier here.
