There was a HD-DVD release from Universal and it seems like Universal is slowly transitioning its catalog from HD to BR.

Looks like this is being released on Tue 6/15/10. It's in today's best buy ad. I'll be making a purchase.

just so everyone knows its a best buy exclusive other stores wont have it till next month.

The audio should be good. I remember feeling i was going to go deaf when i saw this in theaters.

The release date is schduled for the middle of July but I was able to get this movie today at Best Buy for 19.99. Just thought I would pass that along. I do not know if any of the other Best Buys are releasing it early but mine in Kentucky did.

Yeah, I found In Bruges and Alpha Dog early in one BB, and the one I went to yesterday actually had a whole endcap devoted to all their exclusive early releases, including Assault, as well as a few new Dragon Dynasty films.

I gotta find some sort of list of all the movies that'll be released this way, so I can better plan. I wasn't counting on getting In Bruges and Alpha Dog this week, and it threw me off.

Went to Best Buy Here at Va. Beach to purchase " The Book Of Eli" an also found a end cap with several Dragon Dynasty movies and the before mentioned. IMG_1205.jpg

Ehh. Get the John Carpenter original. More realistic and better music plus no rapper "actors".
