Default Will Smith + Sci-Fi = GOLD
I'm sure many other people have wondered this as well, but does anyone know why Will Smith does so many sci-fi movies? Is he a big fan of the genre? I'm guessing he is since he does films of that nature, but I've never been able to find out anything for sure about it. Does he make sci-fi films because every single one of them has made him millions, or what? Watching him on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a kid, I never imagined he'd grow up to be in some of my favorite sci-fi films of all time lol.

Independence Day - made over 817 million (worldwide)
I Am Legend - made over 585 million
I, Robot - made over 347 million (worldwide)
Men in Black - made over 589 million
Men in Black II - made over 441 million
Hancock - made over 624 million

So, which Will Smith SCI-FI film is your favorite?

My personal favorite of his is Independence Day. Great action flick.
