Default Kindle and Cisco Press Books

Does anyone use this combination for work?

I got my wife a kindle and she loves it. She asked if I would ever want one. I did not know how to answer. I never really thought of it. I then looked up and saw that they have a lot of the Cisco books I readily use. Having them with me where ever I go sounds very appealing. She downloaded a sample for me to look at and from the few minutes I looked it over, seemed fairly easy to read.

However, for in depth searches and bookmarking, is it useful?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I've had my kindle for almost 2 years. It's great for fiction but I wouldn't want to use it for reference materials. Sure you can make highlights and bookmarks but I prefer paper books for reference materials. I've found it's much quicker to get to exactly what I'm looking for by using a paper books index than the search feature on the kindle.

Thanks for the input.
