Default Problems with "The X-Files: I Want to Believe" on Blu-Ray

Last night, I tried to access one of the special features on "The X-Files: I Want to Believe" on Blu-Ray. It was the special feature, "The X-Files Complete Interactive Timeline." It features over 80 video clip segments from "The X-Files" archives.

First of all, the actual Blu-Ray disk takes forever to load in my Blu-Ray player. It lags when trying to access anything on the disk. And with this particular bonus feature, the video clips are supposed to be in a square box in either the lower left of the screen, or the lower right of the screen. Problem is, the clips are never in the box; they're always directly beneath the box, so I can only see about 5% of the clip. 95% of it is clipped, so all I can see are the hairlines of whoever is on screen.

Is this a flaw in the bonus feature, or does my Blu-Ray player not support something that is required to play the bonus feature? I have a Panasonic DMP-BD30K 1080p Blu-Ray player, and I've never had a problem with Blu-Ray disks before. Any suggestions?
