Basic premise: Guy's wife cheats on him, then she leaves. He contemplates on how to get revenge on her lover as he goes a wee bit crazy.

Think of it as a tough-guy version of a chick flick.

Ray Winstone is completely nuts and gives one hell of a performance. This film is all dialogue, with plenty of foul-mouthed language (which to me always sounds better with British accents). The poster was a tad misleading as I thought it was going to be your token British Guy Ritchie-style gangster flick.....but I'm glad it wasn't.

John Hurt (his take on Samson & Delilah while they play clips from the Cecil B. DeMille movie is classic!), Ian McShane, Tom Wilkinson & Ray Winstone all give great performances. My only complaint is I wish it was about 30 min. longer. Great film!

Being a HUGE Ray Winstone fan, I will see anything he does. Also a big fan of Ian McShane's ever since Deadwood. This film has been on my must-see films of 2010 since I heard about it 4 months ago. Just wish it was already out here in the U.S. I'm gonna be waiting a long damn time to see this movie

Ray Winstone rocks!!! Nil by Mouth, Sexy Beast, King Arthur and The Proposition. I'll definitely rent this when it comes out!

I wouldn't classify his role as a villain in this, so you're in for a nice surprise. All 4 friends have vastly different personalities, which adds to their on-screen chemistry. Without giving anything away: He plays the "calm smooth-talking charismatic friend".....and I'll leave it at that.

By "calm smooth-talking charismatic friend" you probably mean he has a friendly tone yet very intimidating ala Gary Oldmen, he can sound calm while threatening to cut your balls off and nail them to the gates of rome, lol.
