I've a Dell XPS M1330 laptop! Today, I was on steelers.com and I was listen/watching an interview from Art Rooney II and I saw at the top of the video, download the new Steeler toolbar so I click on it and downloaded! I went back to finish the interview, but wanted to surf the Steeler shop, so I click new window, but Internet Explorer closed! I try to reopen IE, but I get this message...
Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem has cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available! A little help! ![]() Thanks, Bryan PS: MODS, I don't know where to put this, so if this is in a wrong section, please more it! ![]() |

Restart the PC if you can, however can I suggest a better browser?
Try Firefox or Google Chrome, both are Free and work just like IE. I quit using IE after it kept crashing and have used FireFox ever since. Give them a try |

edit: jw is on the right track...it sounds like some service and possibly the toolbar might be blocking something or causing IE to crash/function improperly? |

Start --> Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> System Restore
(i think ![]() If you have an available restore point from earlier today or yesterday (the latter is probably better), choose that and let the computer do its thing. Keep in mind it will get rid of any installed programs between now and that time, but all of your documents will still remain. |
