Have you tried downloading Chrome as jw also suggested? I used to use IE, then switched to Firefox, and am now on Chrome and it works great...very fast and a simple, non-cluttered interface. If you're interested, try installing that and report back.

Also, it sounds a little bizarre that Firefox won't let you use the internet? Do you think you might possibly have a virus? Have you tried doing a scan for viruses and/or spyware?

I'm sorry, I meant IE won't let me on, so I can't download firefox or chrome!

Start the Task MGR (ctrl+Alt+Delete) and close any programs running associated with IE

Are you using your phone or something now? Can you even open IE without actually going to a website?

edit: jw is on the right track...it sounds like some service and possibly the toolbar might be blocking something or causing IE to crash/function improperly?

Yea, all programs are closed when I try to start up IE, but evertime I try to start up IE, I get the same message like in my 1st post!
