Ok, so I thought this was single layered title which has kept me from buying it (as I have it on HD-DVD already) But I read in a statement from WB that it's a dual layered disc. So does anyone know what it is?

Dual-layered, but beware of intermittent audio sync issues.

So far, it hasn't really mattered whether or not they've used single-layer or dual-layer. Warner hasn't really taken advantage of BD's storage capacity yet, but sounds like they will this year. The rumor is they will start including uncompressed audio tracks. Don't know if this has been officially confirmed or not, but I'm sure we'll hear about it at CES 2007.

Wait wait wait... you're telling me that it's the same 30gb HD-DVD just basically transfered onto the Blu-Ray?!?! What is the point in that?!?! Oh well, I am not a fan of Dolby Digital "Plus", it seems to always lack really low frequencies and I can't use the HDMI output on the HD-DVD due to the fact that it wont display all shades of white/black.

It's cheaper for Warner to do it that way. Hopefully this changes in the future though.

I bought this recently, it's ok, but PQ doesn't even seem much better than dvd quality in all honesty.

This was my first Blu-ray. I got it when the PS3 downscaled 720p to 480p and didn't know that at the time. Once I figured that out, setting the PS3 to 1080i (before I got my 1080p Mitsu), I noticed a huge night and day difference in the picture quality.

I got this movie on BD and I think looks & sounds great. It is definitely a better transfer than the DVD which I also have and you can definitely tell a difference between both PQ. I got mine for $11 at CC a couple of weeks ago when I did a Fry's pricematch, got to love Fry's & CC.
