Default Horrible Bosses 2

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who wrote the 2011 comedy Horrible Bosses, have signed on to draft a sequel, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.

The original film starred Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day as a group of friends that decide to kill off each other's bosses (played by Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrel and Kevin Spacey).

Though plans for the sequel are in the very early stages, it is said that Bateman, Day and Sudeikis are likely to reprise their roles with negotiations beginning to have director Seth Gordon return as well.

Just like the old days, anything that makes money will get a sequel greenlit. I liked the first.

Can't wait for them to announce sequels to The Help, Just Go With It, and Bad Teacher.

I loved the first one, but it is a movie that does not need a sequel. I never thought whats next for these guys after the first one finished and doubt others did also.

There are always going to be movies that people will go see/watch.

I guess what good does it do to ***** about it.

I could become a writer and write my own movies and try to get them made I guess.

On a side note, a guy I worked with actually sold a script to National Lampoon once!!

Movie never got made though.

the ONLY way i could MAYBE seeing a sequel like this work is if the guys in the original went on to become the horrible bosses themselves.

but that would rule out any awesome roles like anniston from the 1st one.

I dunno man, the first one was a funny movie, but I skipped Hangover 2 b/c it looked like the same movie. Same goes for this one and Bad Teacher if that gets a sequel.

Thats an interesting concept you have there. I kind of like the idea. Its better then what Hangover 2 did which was the same damn as the the first.

Should be true, but we all know how awful Transformers 2 was. TF3 comes out and is the highest grossing one of the franchise with over a billion dollars.

Movie-goer's have a poor memory. Just put together an exciting trailer, and people will forget how bad the last one was.

Horrible idea. There's nothing left for them to do. As much as I enjoyed the first one, there's no way they can pull it off again if they choose to go the route they went with The Hangover. Even if they don't, it's not like they can do something different since it's Horrible Bosses 2.

Hmmm, on second thought... Maybe they could turn the series into a Fast and the Furious clone and have Jason Bateman actually drag race in his Prius.

Also, not a big fan of the idea of having them turn into the horrible bosses. Sorry Benny, but that would be quite the hypocritical move there and would render the original (while still entertaining) to be pointless.
