Anyone make it to the show?

Pretty wicked. Only had the time to go on Sunday. Got to listen to a whole bunch of speakers and amps I'll never be able to afford :-)

Wasn't completely blown away by anything. Impressed sure but when you've got a setup worth a quarter of a million dollars...i just expected more is all.

Good time though seeing and being able to hear all the different speakers.

Hi GAWD, I did not go this year because of work, but I had the chance to go last year and what you say is true you don't get overly impressed because you expect those sytem to perform the way they do.

I had my preferences last year, the Totem Wind Design in Red fire and the Thiel 3.7 really impressed I think they sticking out but that's just me.

Did you have a chance to audition Focal JM labs setup?

Always fun to go there.

Man I wish I would have gone.

I had a chance to listen to the Focal Chorus 826W which were quite sweet.

The most expensive speakers Cabasse La Sphere actually sounded the best but again cost 250k. They were playing classical choir music and it sounded like they were right in the room with you. Pretty impressive until I came home and saw the price of them

Little did I know my wife an I were sitting next to Christophe Cabasse the whole time lol

Totem's room was the most "educational" Vince Bruzzese walked the crowd through the new Tribe line and in wall speakers. For such little speakers they put out some great sound.

I was actually blown away by the Epson 9500 projector. They gave us a 15 mins viewing and both my wife and I left dragging our jaws behind us. The picture was just incredible.

I was surprised most of the Canadian companies weren't there in force. Axiom, Energy, Paradigm etc. Totem's big selling point was MADE IN QUEBEC and the audience loved that fact. I'm sure MADE IN CANADA would have been a great push too.
